West Bay has decades of experience selling high volumes of cedar pattern stock. Our typical patterns include Tongue & Groove, Channel, and Nickel Gap, although we work closely with our customers to deliver customized profiles as requested.

Cedar Tongue & Groove (T&G)

T&G is a type of siding in which a projecting tongue on the edge of one board fits into a groove in the edge of an adjacent board. The joints are usually V-shaped but other joint options are also offered.
The different joints add unique shadow line effects that allow users to choose the best option for their installation, giving the product great versatility.

Cedar Channel

Channel siding, often called Lap, is the perfect siding when you’re looking for that rustic look.
Each installed board partially overlaps the board next to it, giving it strong durability and protection against the elements, with the versatility to be installed in any orientation. The board structure also gives it an aesthetically pleasing shadow line effect.

Cedar Nickel Gap

Nickel gap siding is often preferred for a more modern look due to its unique shadow pattern that gives homes a smooth, simple aesthetic.
This is created by the consistent width in the gap between boards (about the size of a nickel).
